- Proving that your work doesn’t have to be hot off the presses to be a hot commodity, Annette Langer had an event for her 2005 book, Healing Through Humor: Change Your Focus, Change Your Life, at the Dublin-San Ramon Women’s Club.
- Deborah Grossman’s poem “One Morning in Kowloon Park” won second place in the Nature
- category in the Ina Coolbirth Contest in October and was published in the Ina Coolbrith Circle Poetry Anthology 2013-14, The Gathering.
- On the journalism side of her writing, Deborah Grossman often publishes in national publications, but she especially enjoyed working on an article in the February issue of Wine Enthusiast about the wine collection of Dr. John York, co-owner of the San Francisco 49ers.
- Julaina Kleist-Corwin published a new anthology, Written Across the Genres, which includes pieces from TVW members Beth Aaland (posthumously), Sheila Bali, Jordan Bernal, Shannon Brown, Paula Chinick, George Cramer, Arleen Eagling, Victoria Emmons, Carl Gamez, Stacey Gustafson, Blake Heitzman, Neva Hodges, Alice Kight, Anne Koch, Lani Longshore, Diane Lovitt, Ed Miracle, Violet Carr Moore, Fred Norman, Nancy O’Connell (posthumously), Reme Pick, Albert Rothman, Julie Royce, Elaine Schmitz, Marilyn Slade, Sharon Svitak, Camille DeFer Thompson, and Linda Todd.
