Stacey Gustafson’s book, Are You Kidding Me? My Life With an Extremely Loud Family, Bathroom Calamities, and Crazy Relatives, reached #1 Amazon Best Seller in Parenting & Family Humor and Motherhood for the second time in December 2015. Stacey was guest speaker at the Author’s Tea and Auction in Pleasanton for the Philanthropic Educational Organization, PEO. This organization promotes educational opportunities for women by offering scholarship and loans.
Connie Hanstedt’s memoir, Don’t Leave Yet, How My Mother’s Alzheimer’s Opened My Heart, has been named a finalist in the National Indie Excellence Awards for 2015 and named a finalist in the USA Best Book Awards for 2015.
Connie’s poem, “After 35 Years”, has been named a semifinalist in the New Milleniums Poetry Competition for 2015.
Lani Longshore’s poem, “The Matriarchal Elephant”, appears in the latest anthology from Spider Road Press, In The Questions: Poetry By and About Strong Women.
Lani also beta read and mentored one of TVW’s 2015 high school writing contest winners, Aashna Avachat’s YA novel, Going Places. Lani was mentioned in two articles.
