Mahbod Seraji, author of Rooftops Of Tehran, will discuss the various routes to publishing in his topic, “The Journey: Writing to Publishing.” Seraji believes that regardless of what vehicle you use to get your book out there, you need to act like the CEO of your own book. He will share his experiences from the conception of the ideas, to finding an agent, to publishing and marketing.

Seraji’s Rooftops Of Tehran, published by NAL, an imprint of Penguin, is on its 11th printing and has been translated into 20 languages. He’s currently working on two novels and a business book. He occasionally writes for online publications such as Truthout, Velvetillusion, and Iranian.com

Seraji is an executive coach who works with CEOs and senior executives of Fortune 500 companies and Silicon Valley start-ups. His business engagements have taken him to 35 countries around the globe.
