George Cramer won an Honorable Mention for his genre short story, “Hard Time” in the 89th Annual Writer’s Digest Writing Contest.
Deborah Grossman was the August featured member of the North American Travel Journalists Association with an interview about her adventures as a travel writer. In addition, her poem, “My Husband Has Cancer” [not true] won first place for the Beginnings and Endings theme and her poem, “Is It About Sheila?” [based on true vignette] won third prize in the People category in the recent Ina Coolbrith Circle.
