On Friday, February 14, 2020, Tri-Valley Writers members Jordan Bernal and Paula Chinick presented their well-respected session “Practice Your Pitch: Cast Off Your Jitters” to a full house at the San Francisco Writers Conference (SFWC). The sessions were designed to assist attendees in casting off their jitters in a safe environment before the speed dating session with agents. Several of the facilitators were Tri-Valley Writers members who also volunteer at SFWC, including Tara Farquhar and Julaina Kleist-Corwin.
Elaine Drew will speak at the Pleasanton Art League meeting on Monday, March 9, on the Art of Cartooning.
Ann Parker spoke on January 30 at Towne Center Books, Pleasanton, “Read It and Eat” lunch. The event highlighted the publication of Mortal Music, the 7th book in Ann’s Silver Rush Mystery series.
Pat Wheeler held a book signing for Therapy Dogs In Action at Towne Center Books, Livermore. A story about the event was published by The Independent on February 20.
