Writing Historical Fiction for a Modern Reader
Join us on Zoom for our monthly meeting!

Gina L. Mulligan will present “Writing Historical Fiction for a Modern Reader” at the Tri-Valley Writers November meeting. Historical fiction has a distinctive place in the world of literature. But writing an historical fiction isn’t writing history. We’ll explore how to incorporate historical facts without sounding like a history book; discover the use of historic dialogue, character, and language as part of the narrative; and look at creative ways to examine our life today by giving your historical writing a fresh voice for a modern reader.
Join us on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. via Zoom. RSVP by Thursday, November 19.
Registration for this event is now closed.
