Patricia Boyle’s poem, “Unidirectional Flow” (about rivers), won third place in the adult division of Livermore’s 5th annual Science Poetry contest.

 

 

John Q McDonald‘s short story “The Lorentz Contraction” was accepted for publication on-line in an upcoming issue of Sequestrum Magazine ( https://www.sequestrum.org ) The journal is available as a digital download from Smashwords or print-on-demand from Amazon.

Ed Miracle’s novel Maker Messiah was a finalist for the 2021 Eric Hoffer Award. The submissions totaled over 2,500 with the finalists made up of the top 10 percent.

 

 

James Morehead‘s first collection of poetry, Canvas, debuts June 2021 (Viewless Wings Press). W.J.T. Mitchell, University of Chicago, commends the collection for being “open to the poetry of everyday life, where stanzas are etched in sand, and poems end in sunset.”
