Linda Drattell is a writer and poet from Northern California. She is co-author of a children’s picture book, Who Wants to be Friends With a Dragon? (Dorrance Publishing Company, March 2023) about isolation and feelings of otherness and her poetry chapbook, Remember This Day, will be published with Finishing Line Press in August 2023. Her individual poems are published both online and in print with Prompt for the Press; Bubbles Magazine (forthcoming); Viewless Wings Publisher; Wingless Dreamer; and Las Positas College’s Havik anthology. Her poems are featured in both the 2022 and 2023 Dublin California Poetry Walk. An excerpt from her unpublished novel is an Embark finalist. One of her short stories was published in the CWC Tri-Valley Branch anthology, Voices of the Valley: Through the Window. Linda holds a BSW from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and an MBA from the American University in Washington, DC.
