Member Successes: Global Ebook Award Winners

Mary Heaton won GOLD in the Travel/Guidebook Non-Fiction category in the 2015 Global Ebook Awards for Rambling Through the Emerald Isle.     Sharon Svitak, writing as Sharon Burgess, won SILVER in the Fiction-Romance/Erotica (Contemporary) category in the 2015 Global Ebook Awards for Simply Irresistible: A Spruce Creek Romance.

George Cramer participated in two panels, “Writing in Different Genres” and “The Art of Writing Novels and Short Stories,” at the Public Safety Writers Association annual conference in Las Vegas, Nevada in July. 2015 Alameda County Fair Poetry

LaDonna Fehlberg had three poetry submissions juried into the 2015 Alameda County Fair. “Two of Me”—photo/poem was awarded Silver. Photo/poem “Dune Maiden” and poem “Finally” were awarded Honorable Mentions. Art Tenbrink’s poem, “Sesquicentennial,” won Best of Theme (Rock Red, White, and Blue) in the 2015 Alameda County Fair.
